A bit of limbo...

Last week was stake conference. There was a major reshuffling of stake and ward boundaries and a new stake was created. Although our ward boundaries changed slightly, the biggest change was that our Bishop was taken to fill a position in the Stake Presidency. Today we thought we would find out who the new bishopric would be... but not so.
Due to the timing of the first presidency being on vacation, they will be unable to approve any new bishops. So, for the next month or so our ward is in limbo, and our bishop will be doing double duty. The earliest we could know would be the last Sunday in July. I never knew the first presidency went on vacation, but as hard as they work they certainly deserve it.
It's strange to know that change is coming but that it is still over a month away.
