This past month when my boss was here, I was telling him that I thought someday it would be really cool to one day stay at a historic National Park lodge. The ones I can think of in particular that I remember as beautiful were in Glacier/Waterton, Yellowstone, or Yosemite.
He mentioned another site, which I've had fun searching through for the past few weeks. http://www.recreation.gov/
By looking for "cabins or lookouts" I've been able to find some really neat places to stay. Oregon especially has some awesome looking towers with amazing views.
Unfortunately there aren't any located nearby in Southern Utah, but perhaps we'll have to sometime make a trip to Oregon. To be in one of those watching a storm roll in, would be amazing!
